• Pick full-grain if you want a stiffer pouch that holds its pocket shape under heavy fasteners and develops a deep, dark patina over years. It takes a few weeks of wear to break in, but once it does, it stays that way. Good for framers, carpenters, and anyone loading heavy.
• Pick oil-tanned if you want a pouch that's comfortable from the first shift. The oil finish makes the leather flexible right out of the box, handles rain and sweat without special care, and wears in softer rather than stiffer. Good for electricians, service techs, and anyone who moves and bends a lot.
